"A year ago I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. I had malignant tumors on both kidneys. Being 69-years-old, I expected the worst. Mr. W called today to relay his compliments for the helpful and caring staff that he encountered at Dr. George Vassar’s office. Mr. W and his wife maintain a computer file documenting their medical histories. When Dr. Vassar’s receptionist asked him to complete a medical history form, Dr. W offered a print out from his file. Based on his experience at other doctors’ offices, he expected be told to complete the form anyway, but he was pleased when the receptionist expressed enthusiasm for his efforts and was able to use his file instead of requiring him to fill out a duplicate form. Mr. W. went on to say that at the check out desk, “the other two gals there made me feel like I was somebody important. […] I left the office saying to myself, ‘God, I am blessed.’ Mr. W said his goal in sharing his experience was to return the blessing in hopes that it would encourage the staff to continue offering their kindness to others.

I can honestly say that the first day that my wife and I met you, I wanted to have my radiation treatments done in your office because of both you and Yvonne and the time that you spent with us explaining everything in detail. From the initial set up with Mindy and Daniel, through all 40 treatments, your staff treated me with kindness, courtesy, respect, dignity, warmth and a sense of caring.
