The nature of urologic conditions often prevents individuals from discussing their health concerns with anyone, even their doctor. But receiving accurate, timely information can have a dramatic impact on a person's quality of life. That's why Urology San Antonio offers free educational presentations to groups of 20 or more. Our programs focus on prostate cancer prevention as well as quality of life concerns.

Our most frequently requested topics include:

• Prostate Cancer Awareness - An explanation of the disease, risk factors and screening guidelines.
• Men's Urologic Health - Prostate cancer prevention, urinary problems resulting from enlarged prostate and sexual health, including the correlation between erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular health.
• Women's Urologic Health - Bladder weakness, healthy bladder habits and sexual health
• General Urologic Health - An explanation of the entire urologic system and common urologic conditions such as kidney stones, urinary difficulties, sexual health and urologic cancers.

Each presentation lasts approximately 25 minutes and is followed by a question and answer session. The presentation can be modified to include or exclude specific subtopics such as sexual medicine.
