Education and Support Networks
Support groups provide a valuable source of information and encouragement for individuals facing life-changing health situations. The following urology-related support groups may be of interest to our patients and community. Some of the groups are sponsored by Urology San Antonio, and others are run by nonprofit community organizations. |
Newly diagnosed and longtime interstitial cystitis patients and their guests are invited to Urology San Antonio's bi-annual IC education and support meetings. At each meeting, Urology San Antonio's IC experts explain the latest IC advances. Then they will open the floor for your questions and insights about IC-related topics such as diet, exercise, pain relief, alternative therapies, medical treatments, clinical research, advocacy and sexuality. We know you will benefit from the information discussed as well as the opportunity to network with other individuals living with IC.
