For the quickest refill response, contact your pharmacy with the prescription number found on your medication label. The pharmacist will send an electronic refill request to your doctor. Refill requests are received and reviewed from within your electronic medical record. This integration allows us to document you medications appropriately.
Please allow three business days for refill approvals. To avoid interruptions in your medication, plan ahead. We suggest that you request a refill from your pharmacy at least one week before you need it.
 For your refill request to be approved, you must have been seen in our office within the last year. To schedule an annual appointment, please call your provider's clinic.
Certain newer medications require a prior authorization from your insurance. Our staff will assist you in completing and submitting the insurance forms. Please allow extra time for this process, and make your refill request at least a week before you need the medication.
For urgent or emergency refills, call your pharmacy. You may also contact your provider's office to alert us to the urgent request. We will work with your pharmacy to process the request promptly.
Antibiotics, Pain Medications and Controlled Substances
Requests for antibiotics, pain medications and controlled substances will only be refilled during regular working hours. If you need a refill of these types of medications at night or on weekends, you may be directed to an urgent care center.
If you prescription information is no longer on file at the pharmacy or you have other prescription-related concerns, please call your provider's clinic.
