Doctor Daniel Yelfimov joined Urology San Antonio after completing his urology residency at the Mayo Clinic.

“At the Mayo Clinic, I was able to gain extensive surgical expertise in all aspects of urology.  There was no case too big or too small.  I strongly believe that the needs of the patient come first, which is the motto at the Mayo Clinic, and it’s something I take with me wherever I practice.”

Dr. Yelfimov treats men’s and women’s general urologic health concerns and specializes in urologic cancers, kidney stones, BPH, and laparoscopic and robotic surgery.  Dr. Yelfimov received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine.

“Every time I meet with a patient, I’m excited to see how I can use my expertise to help them, whether that’s simply the reassurance that everything is going to be OK or making them feel confident and comfortable that the surgery will help fix their problem.”

When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Yelfimov enjoys spending time with his wife and children, running, camping, soccer, and rooting for the Colts, Pacers, and Spurs.
